Snap Map shares your location all day and Down-style toggles stop at a single flag. Rally is built around the plan: three clear statuses (Free, Busy, Down), a home-screen widget so you never open an app to check, and a temporary group that forms only for that hangout — then disappears.
No continuous location tracking. Rally is status-first: you choose Free, Busy or Down, and optionally add a short note like "near Alkapuri". Your friends see the status you picked — nothing more.
It auto-expires. Once the plan's window closes, the temporary group archives itself so your chat list stays clutter-free instead of filling up with dead WhatsApp groups.
